LAVT cubicles are provided for voltage metering and generator protection. An LAVT (LASCPT) panel consists of an excitation transformer, potential transformers, lightning arrestors, and surge capacitors to safeguard the generator against current and voltage surges.
Associated busbars are provided with HT supports. Suitable arrangements with the required HV clearances are provided for cable termination, with undrilled removable gland plates or cut-outs to suit bus duct connections. Top or bottom terminal connections can be provided as required.
